Maritime History

This painting was done by a local artist in 1874. It shows a lot of details. On the left is the Round House and the North Pier. The centre shows a tugboat towing a sailing ship into the harbour. The South Breakwater can be seen on the right. In the background you can see the small sails of fishing boats.
