Schuco 3000 Telesteering Car

Schuco is a German toy manufacturer. For over 500 years Germany has been famous for toy making. Toys were originally made of wood. By the 20th century metal was widely used and toys were being made in factories. This is a wind up car, clockwork. It can be steered using the small steering wheel with wire attached to the car. It has four gears. The toy came with a set of wooden pegs which were set out on the floor so the car could be driven around them.
