Metalwork in Applied Art refers to objects crafted from metals such as jewellery, cups, bowls or ornaments.  Aberdeen Art Gallery & Museums collection includes Scottish and English silver domestic hollowware and flatware from 17th century onwards.

Aberdeen has outstanding examples of North East of Scotland silver and the study collection of Aberdeen silversmiths' hallmarks. We also have a growing collection of early 20th century metalwork and enamelling.
