Situated right in the heart of Aberdeen City, Aberdeen Art Gallery, Aberdeen Maritime Museum and Provost Skene's House are within easy walking distance of each other, open every day and are free to visit. The Tolbooth, Aberdeen's museum of civic history, is open during the summer months, Tuesday to Sunday.

Facilities and Access

Aberdeen Art Gallery is accessible to visitors with disabilities. Toilet facilities are available on the ground floor, a wheelchair is available and guide dogs are admitted. A baby changing room and pushchairs are available.

Almost all of the Aberdeen Maritime Museum is wheelchair accessible and an introduction loop system is available in the auditorium. Guide dogs are admitted.

Provost Skene's House has very limited access on the upper floors for visitors with mobility difficulties. Toilets and The Cellar at Provost Skene's House are accessible from the ground floor and guide dogs area admitted.

The Tolbooth has very limited access for visitors with mobility difficulties. As only the entrance hall is accessible, a video presentation of the building is available on request. Guide dogs are admitted.
