Discover the North Boats

Since the 1820s, Aberdeen has been the base for the "North Boats" to Orkney and Shetland. The vessels carry cargo and passengers, with many named after a saint. The boats were operated by the North of Scotland and Orkney and Shetland Steam Navigation company until P & O took over in 1971.
