Discover the Reception and Shop

Your visit to Aberdeen Maritime Museum starts at the reception. Look up and you can see a magnificent model of an oil platform 8 metres tall. You can learn more about it the Murchison platform when you reach the top of the Museum.

Shop and Café
Next to the reception is a small museum shop and on the lower level is the Leading Light café.

Access
The museum exhibitions are accessible by way of the stairs or lift. Information is available throughout the museum in French, Italian, German and Spanish.
